What lies beneath

Popped the top of the cylinder to look inside and saw that the piston was rubbing on the cylinder wall a little, transferring some aluminum.  I can get the piston to move pretty well now, but clearly there is something amiss.  Best guess would be that the rod is slightly bent or the bearings are shot.  So according to some advice from ekartingnews, I need to clean the cylnder wall with some acid and replace the piston, rod, and bearings.  Not too bad or too much work, but will require some planning.

I removed the motor last night.  I'm probably getting a 99 CR125 built and need to get a mount for it and make sure that the carb will fit and exhaust, too.  I'm also watching eBay for a few motors.  Would be nice to have something working on there before the next Philly event (25 April, I think).
