Finger Lakes Tour prep

If it's not one thing, it's another.  Whilst reviewing the various systems on the kart, I found that the throttle cable is fraying close to the pedal, so that will need to be fixed very soon, but not right now.  But I did get some weight mounted on the kart after weighing it with some bathroom scales to see that I was about 25 lbs light (385 min).  And the balance between front and rear was somwhat off, so I got about 27 lbs of lead and mounted it up front in the middle, changing the balance to a close to ideal 43/57 split and I should weigh in at about 387-390 depending on fuel.

Since it's Finger Lakes, I will be bringing the rain tires, even though the forecast isn't calling for any rain (yet).  Loaded up the trailer tonight with the tool box, tent, and bike on the front where Kieran's kart usually sits.  I switched the tires on the Lexus back to the OEM wheels and tires for better fuel mileage on the trip up (about 5 hours).

We've had so much rain lately (including this week), camping will probably be messy again this year.  Must remember to take some sleep aid to get some quality sleep on Friday and Sat nights.
