We did not race this weekend, so I spent MANY hours on the couch watching Le Mans and tried to watch the Canadian Gran Prix, but the rain in Canada forced me to wait until today to watch.

Le Mans was great, with an incredible race between the sole surviving Audi against the Peugeots - back and forth for the full 24 hours.  There were some other good battles, but nothing like the P1 battle.  It was a joy to watch, but Kerry was annoyed with the incessant drone of race engines all day.  Oh well... ;)

The Canadian Gran Prix was a mixed bag, with needless wrecks and lots of rain.  The DVR ended up recording about an hour of the 2-hr rain delay, so I had to wait for Speed to replay the race on Tuesday.  And I'm very happy to have watched what will likely go down as one of the greatest drives for the win ever.  Jenson Button overcame wrecking with Lewis, drive-thru penalty, wrecking into Fred, and 5 tire change stops to go from last place after his last pit stop to winning with a last-lap pass of Seb Vettel to win it.  Truly an epic drive.

This upcoming weekend we have Kieran's HyperMoto race at NJMP.  We will take his two karts and mine (if the weather cooperates) to see if we can both race and maybe he can race both of his.
